Christy Nichols

Christy’s sought-after, professional expertise has afforded her the opportunity to work across the globe. She has delivered language development and leadership initiatives internationally to both secondary and university students in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. She has also created and implemented cross-cultural educational programs for students across Europe, Asia, Central America, and South Africa.

She infuses her extensive experience in leadership, educational passion and love for travel to lead and inspire others through international development projects.

Christy graduated from the University of Sussex with an MA in English, and holds a Teaching Certification earned in the UK. Her travels have included trekking the Bulgarian mountains, taking a month-long journey along the Camino de Santiago in Spain, climbing erupting volcanoes in Sicily, hiking the Andes in Colombia, and plunging off the Bloukrans Bridge along the Garden Route in South Africa. While her “home” is in Melbourne, her education-focused endeavours throughout EDventure’s program locations have provided her with many places to call home. Through founding EDventure, she continues to pursue education, to inspire others to seek constant personal growth, and to always, always take the road less travelled.
